Arrogance straddles Earth
a cold Colossus, framing
Atlas cracks beneath its shadow
burdens blazing
old Olympus, rocking, lows
concentric maiming flows
and all is tyrant dross
a filthy game
unfathomable golem cost
a threshold crossed
an Age of Treason reigns
Hubris has been committed, on a grand scale.
That’s another fine poem you’ve written there Juxti.

“Juxti” – that’s made my day! Thank you!
And, yes: it is grand-scale hubris, indeed..
