I’m all right, Jacks

I’m so sick of “I’m all right, Jacks”
With their narrow-minded thinks
And simplistic understanding
So relentlessly demanding
Paltry policies that stink
And bring the nation’s
Quiet populations
To the very brink of
As they sink
Beneath the radar of compassion
Since the fashion came to pass
That those who didn’t cause this
Are made the scapegoats of disquiet
With expedient derision
Based on top-down spun division
From the Conning Men who sell
That it’s the vulnerable people
Who have brought us to this Hell
And that their neoliberal show
Is still the only way to ‘grow’
And so the Relatively Well
Queue up to buy it.
